Author: Bill Scarrott
Bill Scarrott writes to help people move beyond basic spiritual survival. With roots in a conservative Baptist community, Bill’s own spiritual journey began in his teen years with the divorce of his Christian parents. Torn between what people said and how they lived, he cried out to God to know whether or not all he had learned as a child was a lie. In the years that followed God led Bill from those halls of pain to a place where he knew beyond a doubt that God was good, and that Jesus was alive. Always ready for another adventure, Bill has followed his Master’s voice from the waves of the Oregon coast where he was baptized, to the deserts of the Middle East, and the shores of West Africa. Bill has come away from his travels with more than just memories. While customs agents have stamped his passport, God has imprinted on Bill’s heart a burden for the poor and forgotten, and a burning desire to see his Christian brothers and sisters move from a simple belief in “doing the right things” to an experience with the risen Christ. Bill lives in Alberta, Canada with his wife Karen and two daughters, Kaitlyn and Alyssa.
One Perfect Note
Christianity’s Best Kept Secret
To be the hero of the story, even comic book characters know that you have to show up on time. But at least once, Jesus deliberately stayed away until after the funeral.
Nice timing, Rabbi.
